Online Classes

Due to the current change in Covid-19 lockdown measures, all of our classes will be online until the national lockdown is lifted again.

We have developed online classes to enable everyone of any age, ability and location to be able to join us in having fun, keeping fit and learning new skills. Our motto is

We have a range of online classes which run throughout the week:

Belly Dancing

At Shimmy School we are belly dance specialists. Follow along with one of our open-level classes where we will go over some basic moves, drill technique and have a go at some fun choreography. So grab your shimmy belt and get wiggling!

Barre Fitness

A ballet inspired fitness class which tones and sculpts the body improving flexibility, co-ordination, balance and strength. No previous ballet experience is necessary!

Toning

A general fitness class which will work your whole body head to toe! Exercises will be easy to follow and can be done with no equipment.

Dance Fitness

A dance party full of upbeat follow along routines. Sweat and sparkle whilst having fun! You will forget you’re even working out.

Stretch and Relax

A calming class combining physical exercises, mental meditation, and breathing techniques to strengthen the muscles and relieve stress.

Pilates

Join us for this open-level class that is a fun, low-impact way to improve flexibility and muscular strength and with endurance through movement.

Pilates has something to offer people of all ages and levels of ability and fitness. You will work on proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance.

Twerk Factory

Whether you are a Twerkaholic or a Twerker-to-be, this workshop will teach you what you need to know. Learn to pop it, drop it, shake it, wiggle, wine and more. Not only is it ridiculous FUN, but it’s a great workout too.

Twerk Factory is a fun, effective way to get fit and stay in shape. The class is designed to teach you the basics of Twerking. Starting from scratch, we cover all the basics; including warm up exercises and routines as well as a Twerk choreography teaching you how to twerk it to the beat.
It’s a high impact, energetic workout that targets the gluts, thighs, inner leg muscles and calf’s, as well as toning and strengthening the abdomen. On top of that, it’s also incredibly enjoyable!
